Apr 16, 2014 (newstodate): Qatar Airways now operating three weekly Boeing 777F flights as well as daily passenger flights snatched the top position in February 2014 on Norway's IATA export cargo top-10 list of carriers.
The carrier aggregated 1,404 tonnes of cargo, an increase by 30.8 percent, y-o-y, ahead of KLM Cargo with 1,240 tonnes and up 51.2 percent.
#3 was Asiana Cargo, operating a weekly Boeing 747-400F freighter, lifting 1,077 tonnes, followed by Emirates with 908 tonnes, up 46.2 percent.
Operating three weekly Boeing 747-400F freighters at Oslo, Korean Air Lines Cargo was #5 with 831 tonnes, up 13.5 percent, followed by Finnair with 780 tonnes, but down 12.6 percent, y-o-y, while #7, Thai Cargo was up 41.1 percent to 770 tonnes.
#8, SAS Cargo dropped 9.6 percent to 599 tonnes, followed by Lufthansa Cargo that was down 27.5 percent to 342 tonnes.
Finally China Air Lines Cargo came #10 with 311 tonnes after rising 70.3 percent.
In addition to these volumes, carriers also truck Norwegian seafood exports from Norway to other European airports unaccounted for in these Norwegian CASS statistics.
