Apr 24, 2014 (newstodate): Greenland's coming new virtual carrier, Greenland Express has now published its schedule for the first week of operations, starting from June 2, 2014.
All flights start from and end at Denmark's Aalborg Airport, calling at one or both of Greenland's Atlantic airports Kangerlussuaq and Narsarssuaq via stops at Iceland's Keflavik Airport.
On four of five weekdays, the routing also includes a stop at Denmark's Copenhagen Airport in both directions, and the carrier will not operate on Sundays that are dedicated to servicing of the Fokker 100 aircraft, leased in from the Dutch AOC-holder Denim Air under a three-year ACMI contract.
Greenland Express has also outsourced its administrative, booking and ticketing functions to the global company Discover the World Marketing's Scandinavian office with all customer transactions to be performed over the internet portal.
