Mar 27, 2014 (newstodate): In February 2014, most of the Top-10 Swedish IATA forwarders recorded positive growth in volumes.
The three exceptions were #2 on the list, DHL Global Forwarding with a drop by 20.54 percent, y-o-y, to 1,719 tonnes, #4 Kuehne&Nagel down 23.41 percent to 572 tonnes, and #10 Expeditors down 6.38 percent to 200 tonnes.
#1 was Geodis Wilson with 1,719 tonnes, up 20.71 percent, #3 was Schenker with 768 tonnes and up 9.25 percent, while #5 was Panalpina with 472 tonnes, 5.69 percent.
Together, the two largest IATA forwarders in Sweden thus accounted for almost half of the market, or 40.79 percent of the IATA export volumes in February 2014.
The total IATA export market in Sweden increased by 5.57 percent, y-o-y, to 8,300 tonnes.
