Mar 18, 2014 (newstodate): According to Sweden's Swedavia statistics for January 2014, the country's capital airport saw a slight change in its cargo volumes, compared to January 2013.
A total of 4,617 tonnes of cargo was handled at the airport, up 7.5 percent, y-o-y.
Of this total, international cargo accounted for 2,549 tonnes, up 10.2 percent.
The country's second-largest cargo airport, also managed by Swedavia, is Gothenburg Landvetter Airport where the total volumes in January 2014 were 1,941 tonnes, down 30 percent, y-o-y.
Finally, cargo volumes at Malmo Sturup Airport dropped seven percent to 1,747 tonnes in January 2014.
