Mar 31, 2014 (newstodate): Slovenia's Adria Airways has strengthened its bonds with Bombardier.
With a new order now signed, the carrier will add a further two CRJ900 aircraft to its fleet already comprising four CRJ200, two CRJ900 and two CRJ900 NextGen regional jet aircraft.
The carrier, based at Ljubljana, received is first two CRJ200 aircraft in 1997.
Including this new order, Bombardier has recorded firm orders for a total of 1,814 CRJ Series aircraft, including 341 CRJ900 and CRJ900 NextGen aircraft.
The CRJ Series aircraft are in service with more than 60 airlines and more than 30 customers operate corporate variants of the aircraft.
