Mar 17, 2014 (newstodate): Still only in its first year of operation, the Slovakian ACMI and charter carrier Go2Sky is to add a second aircraft shortly.
With Daniel Ferjancek as CEO and founder, the Bratislava-based carrier Go2sky started out with one leased Boeing 737-400 aircraft based at Italys Bergamo airport conducting charter flights for Mistral Air in the Mediterranean region.
-Within one or two weeks, we will take over a second Boeing 737-400 aircraft on a wet-lease contract also with Italy's Mistral Air starting from April 26, 2014, in a cooperation with Air Partner, says Mr Ferjancek.
-In addition, our aspiration is to add a third Boeing 737-400 aircraft on a short-term lease for the summer period, provided we can find this aircraft in the market. This is really not easy as their is a shortage of aircraft for such short-term summer leases.
-We have indeed seen a sound performance right from our start of operations, and there is definitely a demand in the market for ACMI to cater to the needs of the charter and tour operators, says Mr Ferjancek.
