Mar 03, 2014 (newstodate): The Norwegian carrier Norwegian launched traffic on three now Transatlantic routes during this weekend.
One route was initiated from Sweden's Stockholm Arlanda Airport to Los Angeles, and two routes were launched from Denmark's Copenhagen Airport to New York and Los Angeles, respectively.
This brought the carrier's intercontinental route network to a total of 10 routes, including flights on the routes from Stockholm to New York Los Angeles, Fort Lauderdale and Bangkok, from Oslo to New York, Fort Lauderdale and Bangkok, and from Copenhagen to New York Los Angeles and Fort Lauderdale.
Next to come are new flights from Stockholm to San Francisco from May 3, 2014, and new routes will also be added from Oslo to San Francisco and Orlando.
The airline's long-haul traffic will be operated with Boeing 787 aircraft, with orders placed for eight Boeing 787-8 and six Boeing 787-9 aircraft.
