Mar 03, 2014 (newstodate): Technically speaking, Emirates will add flights to its third destination in Scandinavia from September 2, 2014.
At least this start-up date had been registered by Norway's aviation authorities, including daily flights with Airbus A330-200 aircraft between Oslo Gardermoen Airport and Dubai.
The actual launch of services has still not, however, been announced by Emirates that earlier said flights would commence from August 2014.
Emirates first launched flights to Scandinavia with a route between Dubai and Copenhagen from August 1, 2011, starting with a daily rotation using Airbus A330-200 aircraft, but replacing the Airbus aircraft with a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft from October 1, 2012.
Next, starting from September 4, 2013, the Gulf carrier introduced flights on its second Scandinavian route between Dubai and Stockholm, Sweden, offering daily rotations with Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.
