Mar 24, 2014 (newstodate): Budapest Airport is seeing its best-ever start to a year in a decade, adding eight new routes and four new airlines for the S14 timetable.
On March 30, Norwegian will add its fifth route to the airports network, inaugurating a thrice-weekly service to London Gatwick.
The same day will see Air Serbias launch of flights between Belgrade and Budapest, and the Israeli LCC UP will start services from Tel Aviv to Budapest on April 2, 2014.
Finally on April 3, the UK carrier Jet2.com will return services from Leeds to Budapest.
Wizz Air will also add its 36th service at the airport, with seasonal flights to Alicante, and another novelty is a seasonal flight to Kutaisi, in Georgia.
With these latest addition, Wizz Air will be basing its ninth aircraft at its base at Budapest Airport
