Feb 13, 2014 (newstodate): While volumes are still low, Lithuania's Vilnius Airport did see growth in January 2014, continuing a positive trend through 2013.
A total of 625 tonnes of cargo and mail was handled in January, an increase by 19.2 percent, y-o-y.
Included in the totals were 482 tonnes of cargo, up 18.1 percent y-o-y, and 142 tonnes of mail, up 21.4 percent.
In 2013, the airport handled a total of 8,555 tonnes of cargo and mail, a growth by 39.3 percent, y-o-y, and with unbroken monthly positive growth figures.
