As already noted, Turkish Airlines will double the number of flights from currently three to six times weekly on its triangular route from Istanbul to Tallinn, continuing to Vilnius in Lithuania and returning to Istanbul.
Lufthansa is also to grow frequency on the route between Frankfurt and Tallinn from currently one daily flights to two and three on certain days, and the Polish carrier LOT will also be offering nine weekly rotations on the route between Tallinn and Warsaw from the start of the summer schedule.
Newcomer to Tallinn Airport will be the Portuguese carrier TAP starting flights between Lisbon and Tallinn from July 2014, offering three weekly rotations from the start.
In 2013, the volume of passengers through Tallinn Airport was, however, down by three percent, to 119,792 passengers.
