Feb 20, 2014 (newstodate): Vehement industry rumors claim that Turkish Airlines is considering adding Airbus A380 aircraft to its long-haul fleet.
Some sources say that the carrier is in talks with Skymark for lease of up to four Airbus A380 aircraft due for delivery to the lessor in summer 2014.
Turkish Airlines spokespersons, however, either refuse to comment on the issue or flatly deny the rumors circulating.
Turkish Airlines is expanding rapidly on a global scale, with the long-haul flights operated with Boeing 777 aircraft, of which 15 have so far been delivered while another 20 are still to come.
