Feb 21, 2014 (newstodate): A Russian investment company is to throw in fresh capital to boost Kyrgyzstan's civil aviation.
LLC AviaInvest has thus concluded an agreement with Manas International Airport channeling investments into a number of joint projects with the airport.
Under the 19-year agreement, the two partners undertake to set up a new airline with a fleet of 10 aircraft and an aircraft maintenance center, as well as establishing a new airport tax-free shopping center and a new company to boost Kyrgyzstan's tourism development.
The projected airline will set up a route network with flights from Manas International Airport to European destinations.
