Feb 20, 2014 (newstodate): The Czech airport Prague Ruzyne Airport saw sustained decline in its cargo volumes in 2013.
A total of 51,902 tones of cargo was handled at the airport - a decline by 2.03 percent, y-o-y.
The over-all decline was generated by a drop in international cargo by 2.12 percent, y-o-y, to 51,078 tonnes while domestic cargo improved by 3.98 percent to 824 tonnes.
The airport's performance in cargo volumes were down by 7.9 percent, y-o-y during the first half of the year while obviously improving in the latter part of 2013.
Also in 2012, the airport saw volumes down by 15.5 percent, y-o-y, to 52,978 tonnes.
