Feb 20, 2014 (newstodate): FL Technics, a global provider of aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul services, has now completed maintenance works for its first customers in the new maintenance base in Kaunas, Lithuania.
After receiving all the necessary certificates, the MRO provider has performed maintenance works on four aircraft, including the first C-check, for undisclosed European airline customers, and is now readying for taking in the fifth aircraft in the new facility.
Works performed have included a C-check, hydraulic Landing Gear repairs, NDT checks, RT replacement and paint, as well as other services.
The new hangar allows servicing up to five Airbus A320 aircraft but has also full competence to servicing large aircraft including Boeing 787 and Airbus A380.
