Feb 18, 2014 (newstodate): Lufthansa is successfully tapping the potentials in air traffic between Estonia and Germany.
Starting from March 30, 2014, the carrier will increase frequencies on the route between Tallinn and Frankfurt with one further daily flight, offering a total of three daily rotations on the route that in 2013 reportedly generated a total of 200,000 passengers - twice the volumes of 2010!
Estonia's own national carrier Estonian Air is currently barred from entering the German market with scheduled regular services due to the limitations during the restructuring process and the ongling EU probe, while fully aware of the lost opportunities.
As a seasonal offer, Estonian Air is however to start flights between Tallinn and Berlin, operated from June 16 to August 30, 2014, with three weekly rotations.
