Feb 12, 2014 (newstodate): The Danish charter and ACMI carrier Jet Time has decided to take a further two ATR 72 aircraft on a leasing contract with Nordic Aviation Capital.
In contrast to the eight ATR 72-600 aircraft already ordered by NAC fresh from the factory for delivery to Jet Time, the two additional ATR 72-500 aircraft have a 16-years service record and will cover up for production delays in delivery of two ATR 72-600 originally slated for arrival in April and May, 2014.
Jet Time will however keep the aircraft in the fleet as back-up capacity also after the new ATR-72-600 aircraft have been delivered.
So far, Jet Time has taken delivery of four of the new aircraft ordered.
