Feb 11, 2014 (newstodate): The carrier Danish Air Transport is close to having sold both of its two Bombardier Dash 8-100 aircraft.
The sale of one of the aircraft has now been closed, and it now on its way to the new owner Air Creebec, a regional airline based in Val-d'Or, Quebec, Canada.
The sales procedure for the second Dash-8-100 aircraft is well underway, and expected to close within the coming two weeks.
The two Dash 8-100 aircraft were purchased when DAT made a bid for Norwegian state supported routes requiring STOL aircraft.
DAT, however, eventually made a strategic decision not to bid on the Norwegian PSO routes in the next tender in 2016, leaving the aircraft redundant.
The aircraft were then put up for sale in November 2013.
