Feb 03, 2014 (newstodate): The Kazakh carrier Air Astana has opted for implementation of the CHAMP Cargosystems.
The Kazak national airline will roll out CHAMP's cargo management system over their entire international network during the next six months, making Air Astana CHAMP's first customer in Kazakhstan and the second in central Asia, after Uzbekistan Airlines that introduced CHAMP already in 2008.
With a fleet comprising 26 aircraft, Air Astana operates scheduled domestic and international services on 63 routes from its main hub, Almaty International Airport, and from its two secondary hubs, Astana International Airport and Atyrau Airport.
