Feb 25, 2014 (newstodate): The Armenian carrier Air Armenia is expanding its route network this summer, adding three new destinations from April 2014.
New to come are the carrier's first destinations in Europe - starting from April 3, 2014 are flights from Yerevan to Athens with two weekly rotations and from April 30 flights to Paris, also served with two weekly rotations.
Air Armenia currently operates one Airbus A320 and one Boeing 737-500 aircraft.
Armenia has been struggling to reinstate own national carriers after the demise of Armavia, and designated Air Armenia and Armenian International Airways in July 2013 to build up international traffic.
