Dec 15, 2014 (newstodate): Already the second-largest operator at Iceland's Keflavik Airport, easyJet has launched services on its latest new route to Belfast, in Northern Ireland.
With the first flight on December 11, 2014, the carrier is offering two weekly rotations between Keflavik and Belfast with Airbus A319 aircraft.
With the addition of the new route, easyJet is now connecting Iceland to a total of eight destinations.
EasyJet launched its first route to Iceland from Luton on March 26, 2012 with three flights per week, originally introduced as a seasonal service - but booking figures soon convinced the carrier to change this to a year-round service.
