Dec 111, 2014 (newstodate): The smallest of Moscow's three international airport, Vnukovo Airport reports sound growth in passenger and cargo volumes during 2014.
A total of 13,200 passengers were handled at Moscow Vnukovo Airport in November, an increase by 15.4 percent, y-o-y.
Cargo volumes also increased by 11.6 percent, y-o-y, to 4,500 tonnes.
In 2009, the airport commissioned a new 17,500 sq m Rostovo Cargo Terminal, designed to handling of up to 150,000 tonnes of cargo annually, and capable of handling all types of cargo and mail, including general cargo, perishables, dangerous goods, and animals.
