Dec 12, 2014 (newstodate): Estonia's Tallinn Airport was happy to announce a new carrier from July 14, 2014: Portugal's TAP.
The carrier set up flights from Lisbon to Tallinn with three weekly rotations using Airbus A320 aircraft.
It proved to be a short-lived venture, however: TAP has announced that operations will stop from January 16, 2015, citing "operational reasons" behind the decision.
The 3,314 km long route has so far been Tallinn Airport's longest-ever scheduled flight.
