Dec 11, 2014 (newstodate): Less affected than commercial airlines by the general aviation market turbulence are the executive flight providers.
One example is the ExecuJet Aviation Group with HQs in Switzerland and several subsidiaries including ExecuJet Denmark A/S based at Roskilde, Denmark.
-ExecuJet was actually born in Denmark in 1999 but was since acquired by the Swiss company and now one of several business entities, says Carsten Andersen, ExecuJet country manager Denmark.
-ExecuJet has seven AOCs in Switzerland, UK, Denmark, United Arab Emirates, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand, respectively, operating some 150 business and executive aircraft, two of which are on the Danish company's registry and based in Billund, Denmark.
-The aircraft are allocated to where customers need them, and our business segment comprises VIP and significant business personalities that will not queue up for check-in at airports as other passengers, and require special treatment and services. Also their purses will allow them to go when and where they want or need, at any time.
-Because of this, our business is little affected by global upheavals and crisis situations like the current conflicts over Ukraine. So 2014 will end up being another year with business as usual - and with sustained growth, says Mr Andersen.
