Dec 09, 2014 (newstodate): Kyrgyzstan is eager to have its commercial air carriers lifted off the EU Black List.
This will require the country to fully harmonize its aviation regulations to meet EU standards, and EU has committed itself to assist the country in these efforts.
As part of this, a meeting in Bishkek between the Kyrgyz aviation body and EU's ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic was held earlier this month with participation also by Carsten Theill from the Danish company Integra that provides ATM and other aviation-related consultancy services to EU's civil aviation bodies.
The country will now work on its aviation code, and the issue of lifting Kyrgyzstan from the black list will be discussed at a joint meeting in Brussels later this month.
