Nov 05, 2014 (newstodate): Statistics from the Czech Republic's Prague Airport show a recession in volumes in September 2014.
A total of 4,265 tonnes of cargo was handled at the airport, a decline by 3.75 percent, y-o-y.
The same negative trend is also seen in the volumes of IATA export cargo in the Czech market, showing a decline by 7.79 percent, y-o-y, to 2,216 tonnes.
Among the IATA carriers, Lufthansa Cargo held 22.56 percent of the IATA export cargo market, with 500 tonnes, which was still a drop by 30.38 percent, y-o-y.
#2 was KLM Cargo with 495 tonnes, up 4.51 percent, while #4, Air France Cargo was up by 30.47 percent to 167 tonnes, bypassing #3, Emirates that managed to grow 2.99 percent to 390 tonnes.
