Nov 28, 2014 (newstodate): Aeroflot's coming new LCC venture, Victory has designated Swissport Russia as its provider of ground handling services at Moscow Vnukovo and other airports.

On May 31, 2013, Swissport signed a contract with Service-VS, the ground handling operator at Vnukovo Airport, paving the way for Swissport International to start operations in the Russian Federation.
Victory, Poboda in Russian, will start out operating four Boeing 737-800 aircraft, with plans to expand to up to 40 aircraft by 2018, operating 45 routes and carrying more than 10 million passengers, making it one of Russia's top ten carriers.
Aeroflot's previous attempt to launch a low-cost airline, Dobrolyot suspended operations in August 2014 as its aircraft lease agreement was canceled under EU sanctions imposed due to its plans to operate flights into to Crimea, annexed by Russia from Ukraine in March 2014.
