Nov 27, 2014 (newstodate): Only three IATA carriers in the Swedish market managed to report positive growth in volumes in October 2014.
The three exceptions were #4, Emirates with 727 tonnes, up 22.23 percent, y-o-y, #6, BAWC with 513 tonnes, up 19.7 percent, and finally #8, Korean Air Lines with a growth by 34.21 to 376 tonnes.
Ranking as #1 on the list was SAS Cargo with 1,238 tonnes but down 20.21 percent, followed by Lufthansa Cargo, 1,021 tonnes and down 12.32 percent, and KLM Cargo, down 27.74 percent to 930 tonnes.
#5, Finnair Cargo dropped 27.5 percent to 569 tonnes, while #6, Thai Cargo managed to rein in its decline to 5.63 percent, to 431 tonnes.
Singapore Airlines Cargo bare managed it to secure its #10 position, down 25.13 percent to 358 tonnes.
In total, the Swedish IATA export cargo market in Sweden declined by 12.64 percent, y-o-y, to 8,663 tonnes.
