Nov 04, 2014 (newstodate): New in St Petersburg's Pulkovo Airport in 2015 will be Brussels Airlines.
At the recent World Routes 2014 in Chicago, representatives from Pulkovo Airport and Belgium's Brussels Airlines agreed on the opening of new flights to connect St Petersburg and Brussels with nonstop direct flights.
Under the agreement, Brussels Airlines will launch services on the route from March 30, 2015, initially offering three weekly rotations with airbus A319 aircraft until October 23, 2015.
The route has been vacant since 2007 after Brussels Airlines pulled out from the route opened from summer 2004 with two weekly rotations operated with Avro RJ85 aircraft.
