Nov 05, 2014 (newstodate): As usual, Norway remained the undisputed leader in IATA export cargo in September 2014.
A total of 10,826 tonnes of IATA export was recorded in Norway - a growth by 13.82 percent, y-o-y, headed by Finnair Cargo that took 13.61 percent of the market with 1,474 tonnes, up 51.45 percent, y-o-y.
Also growing in volumes was Denmark, up 7.47 percent, y-o-y, to 7,024 tonnes, of which SAS Cargo accounted for 21.95 percent after a growth by 24.81 percent to 1,542 tonnes.
The Swedish market however continued its downward trend, down 3.98 percent to 8.876 tonnes. Here SAS Cargo was also in the lead with 1,487 tonnes, down 0.84 percent and holding 16.75 percent of the market.
Finally, Finland was down a full 10.47 percent to 3,034 tonnes. Finnair contributed 1,004 tonnes, down 3.26 percent and holding 33.08 percent of the IATA export market in September 2014.
