Nov 26, 2014 (newstodate): Starting from January 12, 2015, a new virtual carrier Arctic Airlink will launch flights connecting three destinations in the northern regions of Norway, Sweden and Finland.
The route will connect Oulu in Finland, Luleaa in Sweden and Tromso in Norway - all points above the Arctic circle and housing universities with leading edge competencies in various fields to benefit from the enhanced transport service.
Passengers will also have opportunities to connect to the major national air traffic hubs in the respective countries, as well as flights from Tromso to Arkhangelsk and Murmansk in Russia's Arctic region.
Operating the flights will be Nextjet using SAAB 340 aircraft on the route that will be served five times per week.
