Nov 03, 2014 (newstodate): The Lithuanian provider of handling and fueling services Baltic Ground Services has announced the signing of a cooperation agreement with Travel Service Airlines.
Under the contract, BGS will provide the carrier with integrated ground handling and fuelling services at Vilnius International Airport.
Headquartered in Prague, the Czech Republic, Travel Service Airline is online at Vilnius International Airport from October 2014, providing the market with regular charter flights using Boeing 737 aircraft.
The ground handling contract will run for three years, while the fueling contract has been signed for a one-year period.
Travel Service was the first airline based in Central and Eastern Europe to fly the next-generation 737 and will also become the first airline to operate the 737 MAX in the region, having placed orders for an initial batch of three aircraft in 2013.
The carrier and it subsidiaries currently operates a fleet comprising 27 Boeing 737-700 and -800 aircraft
