Nov 14, 2014 (newstodate): The Czech Republic's Ministry of Transport has designated Travel Service Airlines as the second Czech carrier to operate on the route between Prague and Moscow.
Starting from the Summer 2015 schedule, the carrier will offer up to seven weekly rotations on the route operated by its LCC subsidiary, SmartWings that has a fleet of 14 aircraft including five Airbus A320 and nine Boeing 737-700/800 aircraft.
The Czech Republic and Russia agreed in September 2014 on the appointment of second designated carriers to serve the route, and the Russian party has yet to designate its carrier.
