Oct 17, 2014 (newstodate): August 2014 saw IATA export airfreight growth in Denmark and Norway, while volumes Sweden and Finland dipped, compared to last year.
The Danish IATA export airfreight market was up modestly by 2.88 percent, y-o-y, to 6,657 tonnes, with SAS Cargo in the lead with 1,277 tonnes, a slight decrease by 1.93 percent.
In Norway volumes again skyrocketed with an increase by 35.29 percent, to 11,749 tonnes, led by Finnair Cargo with 1,736 tonnes, up 25.56 percent.
Sweden was down again by 12.59 percent to 7,289 tonnes with SAS Cargo on top with 1,202 tonnes, but down 16.97 percent.
Finally, Finland also experience a decline by 16.27 percent to 2,631 tonnes with Finnair Cargo #1 with 877 tonnes but down 14.33 percent, y-o-y.
