Oct 15, 2014 (newstodate): Georgia's new airline, Flyvista is expanding its aircraft fleet with a new aircraft type.
So far operating two Boeing 737-300 aircraft, the carrier has now taken delivery of its first Airbus A320 aircraft.
Flyvista has been set up with the UAE-based aircraft leasing, charter and management solutions provider Aerovista as its partner and is building up a fleet of Boeing 737-300 aircraft, the first of which landed at the airport on July 10, 2014.
The route network will successively include also destinations Almaty in Kazakhstan, Baku in Azerbaijan, Istanbul in Turkey, Minsk in Belarus, Moscow in Russia, and Prague in the Czech Republic.
The carrier is managed by Gregory Pomerantsev as CEO, earlier serving with the Latvian carrier airBaltic as Senior VP Sales & Marketing.
