Oct 03, 2014 (newstodate): Air Lituanica has announced the opening of its first interline agreement.
Passengers on Air Lituanica will now be able to travel on a single ticket from Vilnius to destinations on the route networks of the carrier's new partners, Air France and KLM via these airlines' hubs at Amsterdam and Paris.
From the start of Air Lituanica in June 2013 the aim was to set up interline and code-share agreements with partners, the first of which was Estonian Air under a comprehensive cooperation that, however, broke up already in November 2013 as the two parties split with issues taken to the courts.
