Oct 03, 2014 (newstodate): The Latvian freight forwarder and logistics provider JAZZ Logistics has now branded and launched its new express product.
Named Fix Express, the service will provide deliveries of express shipments by van between shippers and receivers in Latvia and Germany, catering to the significant volume of transactions between companies in these two markets.
-We are now testing the demand in Latvia and Germany, and after this business has settled in our next step will be to launch a similar service between Latvia and the UK, says Sintija Edelmane, JAZZ Logistics sales and operations manager.
-Generally speaking we are seeing a rather low growth in our core business which is forwarding and logistics, reflecting the over-all slow growth in the world economy. So volumes are below last year's and we do not expect this to change in the short term.
-Luckily,we are not deeply into the Russian, Belarus or Ukrainian markets so in contrast to other Baltic companies we are little affected by the current problems in these regions, says Ms Edelmane.
