Oct 29, 2014 (newstodate): Latvia's airBaltic may be returning to a Baltic vision for its future operations.
The latest addition to the carrier's route network is the route connecting neighboring Estonia and France through the introduction of flights between Tallinn and Paris, starting from October 28, 2014, with four weekly rotations.
Next to come is the opening on October 30, 2014, of airBaltic flights from Vilnius to Amsterdam, also to be operated four times weekly with Boeing 737 aircraft.
Both routes will be operated in cooperation with the carrier's code-share partners KLM and Air France providing global transfer options through Paris and Amsterdam.
Until 2010, the carrier built up extensive networks at the airports of Tallinn and Vilnius, but retreated as the effects from the global financial crisis hit.
