Oct 07, 2014 (newstodate): Abu Dhabi-based carrier Etihad plans to add two new routes into the Caucasian region from 2015.
First to come is a new route from Abu Dhabi to Baku, in Azerbaijan, from October 1, 2015, with four weekly rotations, followed by the opening of flights three times per week on another route from Abu Dhabi to Tbilisi, in Georgia, from October 2, 2015.
Both of the new routes will be operated with Airbus A320 aircraft.
Etihad is already active in the region with direct flights between Abu Dhabi and Yerevan, in Armenia, offering four weekly rotations with Airbus A320 aircraft from July 2, 2014.
