Oct 28, 2014 (newstodate): Air Berlin is now online at Latvia's Riga Airport - and has plans for future expansion.
With the first flight on the route between Brussels and Riga on October 27, 2014, Air Berlin is now offering six weekly rotations, with onward flight options to a range of new destinations for the Latvian market.
Air Berlin is thus in place to provide fresh capacity on the route, also served by the Latvian carrier airBaltic, as Latvia takes over the Presidency of the Council of the European Union in the first half of 2015.
