Oct 29, 2014 (newstodate): Georgia is to see a new carrier at Tbilisi Airport from November 2014.
Egypt Air's low-cost arm Air Cargo will be offering flights between Sharm el-Sheikh and Tbilisi from November 2, 2014, initially offering two weekly rotations and later increasing to three weekly rotations from January 9, 2015.
Owned 60 percent by Egypt Air, Air Cairo operates a fleet comprising five Airbus A320 aircraft, with a further three yet to be delivered.
The new flight will benefit from the Egyptian state's subsidies for national carriers to stimulate the recovery of its troubled tourism industry.
