Oct 27, 2014 (newstodate): Denmark's Billund Airport will see a new airline customer on the approach from next summer.
Adding to the airport's offerings will be Star Alliance member carrier Brussels Airlines with a new route between Brussels and Billund.
The carrier will launch services from the start of next year's summer schedule with two rotations on work days as well as one daily rotation on weekends.
The flights will be performed with Bombardier Q400 aircraft from flyBe.
The route is already on the schedule with daily flights by the Danish carrier Sun-Air of Scandinavia, a BA franchise partner.
The new flights to Billund is one of a total of six new routes announced for Summer 2015, also including three weekly flights to St Petersburg.
