Oct 16, 2014 (newstodate): Air Croatia, a virtual airline, set up in Sweden failed to launch flights from Gothenburg, Sweden, from June 14, 2014, as planned.
Citing lack of market demand, the launch of the airline was postponed till a later date.
This date is now drawing close, as the carrier will make a second attempt to get airborne in time for the expected Christmas boom in air travels.
Air Croatia will thus now offer flights on routes from Zagreb to Milan, Prague and Dusseldorf.
Next, from spring 2015, the carrier will also start operations on a route from Zagreb to Stockholm and other destinations, yet to be named, with an Airbus A319 aircraft leased from CSA.
