Jan 10, 2014 (newstodate): Turkish Airlines has seen good results with its triangular routes to Danish and Baltic airports in 2013.
As a result, the carrier will increase the service from Istanbul to two Danish provincial airports with another two weekly rotations from the start of the coming summer schedule.
While the current routing, launched on June 11, 2013, with three weekly rotations using Airbus A319 aircraft, has been Istanbul-Aalborg-Billund-Istanbul, the two new flights will be routed Istanbul-Billund-Aalborg-Istanbul.
Another triangular route operated in the Baltic region by Turkish Airlines will also see increased frequencies: the carrier will double the weekly flights also since June 11, 2013, from Istanbul Ataturk Airport to Tallinn, Estonia, continuing to Vilnius, Lithuania, and returning to Istanbul, bringing the total to six weekly rotations using Airbus A319 aircraft.
