Jan 22, 2014 (newstodate): Two IATA export cargo markets in the Nordic region were on the increase in December 2013 - and two were down in volumes.
Norway retained its lead among the four Nordic markets as to growth in IATA export cargo with a 19.8 percent increase, y-o-y, to 10,677 tonnes.
Sweden also showed growth compared to December 2012, rising 4.4 percent to a total of 7,618 tonnes.
The Danish IATA cargo market was down by 1.5 percent, y-o-y, to 5,260 tonnes, while the Finnish market dipped by 3.6 percent to 2,919 tonnes.
Figures are according to the latest CASS statistics that may, however, not paint the full picture as some volumes by individual carriers may not have been invoiced in the actual month, appearing only in later statistics.
