Jan 10, 2014 (newstodate): Shanghai retained its position as the largest destination for Sweden's IATA export cargo in December 2012-November 2013.
A total of 9,624 tonnes of export cargo was destined for Shanghai, which was only 0.7 percent up against the receding 12-month period.
Shanghai however kept a comfortable distance to Sweden's #2 export destination, Chicago with 6,834 tonnes, but Chicago increased by 16.4 percent, y-o-y.
Third was Seoul with 4,311 tonnes, up 6.1 percent, followed by Newark with 4,280 tonnes and up 65.3 percent - the strongest growth among the 25 airports listed, and Tokyo with 3,326 tonnes but down 9.1 percent.
During this 12-month period, the Swedish IATA export market aggregated a total of 102,357 tonnes of cargo - up modestly by 1.5 percent, y-o-y.
