Jan 09, 2014 (newstodate): Russia's leading cargo carrier AirBridgeCargo has taken delivery of its fifth Boeing 747-8F freighter.
The carrier has placed orders for a total of six Boeing 747-8F, adding to a fleet also comprising five Boeing 747-400ERFs and three Boeing 747-400 Freighters.
The new aircraft will be used on ABC's existing route network linking Europe, Asia and the United States via the airlines hub in Moscow.
ABC Airlines is consistently ranked first on Russia's Top-5 cargo carrier list, in January-November 2013 carrying a total of 389,568 tonnes, up 20.5 percent y-o-y, in a market that was growing only by 1.9 percent during the period.
