Jan 20, 2013 (newstodate): Turkish Airlines is expanding services on its triangular route since 2013 into the Baltic region.
The carrier is to add two new frequencies to its existing thrice-weekly triangular service on the route from Istanbul to Tallinn in Estonia continuing to Vilnius in Lithuania before returning to Istanbul.
The new added rotations will be operated Istanbul-Vilnius-Tallinn-Istanbul.
Turkish Airlines inaugurated the triangular Baltic route with the first flight on June 11, 2013, using Airbus A319 aircraft.
Besides this triangular Baltic route, Turkish Airlines has also been on-line between Riga in Latvia and Istanbul since April 19, 2006.
