Jan 16, 2014 (newstodate): The Serb carrier Air Serbia is building up its new aircraft fleet.
On January 15, 2014, the carrier took delivery of its fifth Airbus A319 aircraft, and three more will follow in the course of 2014.
With the replenished aircraft fleet Air Serbia will be introduce flights to a spree of new destinations from the coming summer schedule, including flights from Belgrade to Beirut, Budapest, Sofia, Varna, Kiev and Warsaw.
Further down the road, Air Serbia will receive 10 Airbus A320neo aircraft during 2018-2020, to replace the fleet of two Airbus A230 and eight Airbus A319 currently being installed with the airline thanks to the fresh capital influx by its equity partner Etihad.
