Jan 06, 2013 (newstodate): In November 2013, Lufthansa Cargo replaced SAS Cargo on the #1 position in Sweden's IATA export cargo volumes.
Lufthansa Cargo thus aggregated 1,223 tonnes of cargo corresponding to 14.1 percent in market share, while SAS Cargo landed at 1,135 tonnes, or 13 percent of the IATA export cargo market.
Both carriers, however, were down in volumes compared to November 2012 by 14.9 and 25.7 percent, respectively.
KLM Cargo came 3rd with 1,117 tonnes, up strongly by 69.8 percent, y-o-y, and with 12.8 percent of the market.
Rising the most percentage-wise was #6, China Cargo Airlines with 496 tonnes and up 351.7 percent, while another Chinese carrier, #10 Air China Cargo dropped the steepest by 50.8 percent to 329 tonnes.
Over-all, the Swedish IATA export cargo market was down by 7.1 percent, y-o-y, to 8,706 tonnes in November 2013, the latest month accounted for.
